Pastoral Staff
Rev. Dan Bratt
Rev. Dan Bratt is a native of Michigan, spending his early years in western Michigan, before his family moved on to Wisconsin, and then Washington State. He circled back to Michigan for college (Calvin) and graduate school (MSU), pursuing his dream of a career in biology. God drew Dan to Himself in his younger years, and then, while in grad school, God called him into ministry. This began with several years of working as a campus staff with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship, serving seven colleges in eastern Michigan.
At that time, Dan met and married his wife, Kathy, from Clio. Eventually, he sensed a call to pastoral, church ministry, and, after seminary (Calvin), pastored a church for 20 years in New Jersey. Returning to Michigan with his family to assist his mother-in-law, they became involved with the PCA. Dan served as an Assistant Pastor at Christ Covenant Church in Midland, and, in 2012, was asked to become the pastor at Providence PCA, which later became the daughter church of Christ Covenant.
Pastor Dan and Kathy have six children and three grandchildren. Their four oldest ones are scattered around the country, and the world. Dan’s interests include being with his family, reading, woodcarving, listening to good music, enjoying God’s creation and all His good gifts, and looking to the Day when all the Lord’s great promises are fulfilled in His Presence on the New Earth.
